![]() ![]() He tells her about their relationship, about all the moves he wishes he'd made, and how he realizes that if he'd just made one or two tiny little different decisions they would have been in a great place when she nailed that interview and he would have followed her to Paris, eventually coming with her to someone else's Jazz club instead of her walking into his. ![]() Right away you can tell part of what he's going to say, and the visuals confirm it. ![]() He can't talk to her, but he has so much he needs to say. Fast forward to Mia and her husband entering the club. Early in the film he talks about how music was a way for people who couldn't communicate to talk to each other without words, to say what needed to be said, and it was about compromise and conflict and it was exciting. I see it more as a confession by Sebastian. ![]()
